On 11–16 November, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are in Pyongyang on a reconnaissance visit.

MFA Undersecretary of State Henryka Mościcka-Dendys met with UK’s Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Justice, Lord Frederick Ponsonby of Shulbrede.

Poland’s chief diplomat met today with Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance Mark Rutte, who is on a first official visit to Poland.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski spoke with the Democratic Republic of the Congo’s chief diplomat, Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner. The historic first visit of the Congolese foreign minister to Poland took place on 7 November.

Today’s talks between top diplomats of Poland and Bosnia and Herzegovina, Radosław Sikorski and Elmedin Konaković, were dominated by the Western Balkans’ European prospects and the security situation in Europe.

Deputy Minister Władysław Teofil Bartoszewski met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Muzaffar Madrahimov for talks on the regional and international situation, bilateral relations, and opportunities to strengthen economic cooperation.

“I hope that this exhibition will reinvigorate the memory of a patriot and a statesman, and will serve as an example for the generation of future diplomats,” Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski said as he recalled Mariusz Kazana, former Director of Diplomatic Protocol, while inaugurating the exhibition of graphic arts hosted by the Diplomats’ Gallery at the Diplomatic Protocol. On 6 November 2024 at the MFA headquarters, a preview was held of the “Mythological Zoo” exhibition by Professor Błażej Ostoja Lniski, PhD, painter, graphic artist, and the Rector of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

Undersecretary of State Henryka Mościcka-Dendys took part in a meeting of the Advisory Legal Committee of the Minister of Foreign Affairs.

The main topic of the conference, held in Warsaw on 4–5 November and attended by representatives of over 100 museums across Ukraine along with partner institutions from Poland, Germany and other countries, was the need for new narratives and decolonisation, addressing changing societal expectations and demands, as well as the development of ways in which Ukrainian cultural institutions can be supported in the light of Russian aggression.

On Wednesday, 30 October, Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski addressed the Senate of the Republic of Poland with information on cooperation between the Polish government and the Polish community and Poles living abroad.
