On 26 June, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski met with his Romanian and Turkish counterparts: Luminița Odobescu and Hakan Fidan. The Trilogue meeting was held in Helenów near Warsaw.

During today’s consultations, the two ministers discussed the most important issues of common interest for Poland and Sweden, namely security in the Baltic Sea region, measures to help Ukraine in the face of the Russian aggression, and support for the European aspirations of Moldova and Ukraine.

The 13th meeting of the Polish–Austrian Mixed Commission for cultural and scientific cooperation was held on 24 June 2024. The Commission reviewed its activities so far and adopted the Programme for Cooperation in the Fields of Science, Education, and Culture for 2024–2028.

Russia’s aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, instability in the Great Lakes region, and the situation in Georgia were the main points of a Foreign Affairs Council (FAC) meeting in Luxembourg on Monday. The EU ministers also met with their counterparts from the Western Balkans. Poland was represented by its chief diplomat, Radosław Sikorski.

During her two-day visit to Austria's capital, Deputy Minister Henryka Mościcka-Dendys took part in the official celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Polish Institute in Vienna and held a series of consultations with Austrian partners including those at Austria's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the Mauthausen Memorial.

Today, Minister Radosław Sikorski received 12 ambassadors of African states accredited to Poland. The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss Poland–Africa relations and prospects for enhancing cooperation.

On the first visit to Poland since her appointment in April, Minister Braže met with Foreign Minister Sikorski to discuss security across the region, assistance for Ukraine, and Poland-Latvia cooperation within NATO and the EU.

Today, Minister Radosław Sikorski signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Poland and the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission in respect of the incident of 1 April 2024 in the Gaza Strip. On behalf of the International Humanitarian Fact-Finding Commission, the document was signed by its President, Thilo Marauhn.

Today’s visit of the Moldovan minister in Warsaw has mainly focused on Moldova’s accession to the European Union.

The Ministerial Session of the Council of the Baltic Sea States (CBSS) within the Finnish Presidency was attended by the foreign ministers of Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, and Sweden, the Secretary of State at the Danish MFA, and a European Union representative.
