22.11.2022On 15-18 November 2022, on the initiative of Poland, Armenia and Azerbaijan hosted a group of envoys and ambassadors for the Eastern Partnership from twelve European Union member states (Austria, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Ireland, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Germany, Poland, and Sweden) who were accompanied by the Special Envoy of the European External Action Service for the Eastern Partnership.

So important to Polish diplomats and staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the holiday falls on the anniversary of the telegram sent on 16 November 1918 by Commander-in-Chief of the Polish Armed Forces Józef Piłsudski. In it, he notified the international community of the rebirth of an independent Polish state after 123 years of foreign rule.
