10.10.2022Ceremony to award prizes and honourable mentions in Foreign Minister’s History CompetitionOn Monday, 10 October 2022, in Alfred Biedermann’s Palace at the University of Łódź, Minister Zbigniew Rau presented prizes and honourable mentions in the 4th and 5th editions of the Foreign Minister’s History Competition. The awards went to research and popular research works as well as source publications that came out in 2019 and 2020.

He took part in the Polish-Iranian political consultations, which take place regularly (with the exception of the COVID-19 pandemic) at the level of deputy foreign ministers. The last edition of the consultations took place in 2019.

There are no contentious issues in our relations. Also of importance is the fact that they are based on mutual friendship between our nations,” stated Minister Rau after talks with his Greek counterpart.

03.10.2022Poland re-elected as member of International Telecommunication Union CouncilOn 3 October 2022, Poland was re-elected as a member of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Council for 2023–2026. The election was held at the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference in Bucharest, launched on 26 September. Poland has taken part in the work of the ITU Council since 2010.
