    As from 1 January 2023, the minimum salary is to increase to PLN 3,490, and as from 1 July – to PLN 3,600. The Council of Ministers adopted a regulation on this matter.     In August, the registered unemployment rate reached 4.9% – as it results from the Ministry of Family and Social Policy’s preliminary data. When compared to the previous month, the number of unemployed persons in August decreased by 2.1 thousand.

    The Sejm passed the act on the financial support for entrepreneurs from the Odra region. Odra companies, whose revenues fell by at least 50%, will be able to apply for the one-off benefit amounting to PLN 3,010 for each insured employee.

    In July, the unemployment rate in Poland amounted to 2.6%. As provided by Eurostat, it is lower than the value in July 2021 (3.3%). This result confirms that the situation in the labour market in Poland is stable. Only in the Czech Republic, is the level of unemployment lower than in Poland – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

    The government has prepared solutions to support entrepreneurs from the Odra region. – We have urgently prepared solutions regarding the payment of a one-off cash benefit in the amount of PLN 3,010 per employee – informs the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg. The Sejm will deal with the draft act as early as on 2 September.

    Employment in Poland in July increased by 2.3% year on year – informed the Statistics Poland. In turn, the average remuneration in the enterprise sector in July increased by 15.8%. – The good situation in the labour market in Poland is also confirmed by Eurostat, according to which the level of employment in our country is one of the highest in history – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.
