This year's 5th edition of the "Quality Mark of Social and Solidarity Economy 2022" competition enjoyed great interest. A record number of applications resulted in the fact that the certificate of "Quality Mark" went to 164 entities.

The Ministry of Family and Social Policy is the leader of the project "Inclusion of the Excluded". Its aim is to prepare new solutions and tools to professionally activate people with disabilities, to enable them to enter and remain on the labour market. The partners are: Polish Association of the Deaf, Polish Organisation of Employers of Persons with Disabilities and the NGO Association "Time Space Identity" ("Czas Przestrzeń Tożsamość").

Next year, we will see two increases in the minimum salary. The government proposes that from January the minimum salary should amount to PLN 3,383, and from July it should rise to PLN 3,450. Now the government's proposal will be discussed by the Social Dialogue Council.

The main objective of the Strategy for the Development of Social Services is deinstitutionalisation, i.e. transition from institutional care to care provided in the family environment and local community. The Council of Ministers adopted a resolution on the adoption of the strategy.

The most important role of the state is to support parents - said Minister Marlena Maląg at the 3rd National Conference "Upbringing Lasts Forever". The Minister emphasised the role of the family in the process of upbringing.

5.1 per cent was the registered unemployment rate in May this year, according to estimates by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy. - This is an excellent result; after 1990, only in October 2019 was the registered unemployment rate lower and amounted to 5 per cent - indicates Minister Marlena Maląg.

The Strategic Investment Programme is the answer to the post-pandemic situation. It is money which is supposed to help local governments to create good things, to carry out tasks for the benefit of inhabitants - said Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg during her visit to Jarocin on Monday. In total, the Wielkopolska region will receive nearly PLN 2.8 billion in the second edition of the programme. The Minister of Family handed promises within the Strategic Investment Programme to the local governments of Jarocin, Pleszew and Kalisz.

On 2 June this year, a meeting of the Labour Market Council was held, which was devoted to the activities of the Ministry of Family aimed at helping Ukrainian citizens. The meeting discussed legal changes in the labour market and counteracting difficulties related to employment.

Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Anita Czerwińska as the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and the Government Plenipotentiary for Social Economy.

On 1 June, a new benefit period under the „Family 500+” programme begins. More than 6 million children have already been granted the child-raising benefit.
