08.02.2022New regulations regarding homes for mothers and pregnant womenOn 8 February, the regulation of the Minister of Family and Social Policy on homes for mothers with minor children and pregnant women entered into force. Thanks to it, the maximum period of stay in the home for mothers and pregnant women has been extended, in reasonable cases, even up to 18 months.

07.02.2022PLN 200 million for the „Active Plus” programme– In 2021 – despite the pandemic – more than 450 thousand persons aged 60 and more participated in the „Active Plus” government programme, including more than 98 thousand persons with disabilities. During this period, we allocated PLN 40 million for it and within five years this amount will be PLN 200 million.

The Ministry of Family and Social Policy is starting a new edition of the "Active+" programme. The government will allocate PLN 40 million this year to support projects for seniors.

01.02.2022Family 500+. From 1 February applications for the new benefit period can be submitted2022 has brought important changes to the programme "Family 500+". Since January, the programme is operated by the Social Insurance Institution, taking over from local governments the collection of applications for this child benefit. Moreover, from the new year, applications for 500+ can be submitted only electronically, and the money will go to the parents' bank account.
