Meanwhile, across the European Union, unemployment in July amounted to 6.9%. – The situation is clearly improving, we are also well above the EU average – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

31.08.2021The Council of Ministers adopted a draft amendment to the Act on the “Family 500+” programmeJust like in the case of the “Good Start” programme, soon the submission of an application for the child-support benefit under the “Family 500+” programme will be possible online only. Also, the Social Insurance Institution will be involved in the service of the programme. The Council of Ministers adopted a draft amendment to the Act on this matter. Families can rest assured – the most important rules of the programme will remain unchanged and no one who has the right to the benefit today will lose it.

17.08.2021The government adopted the draft act on Family Care CapitalThe new regulations are to enter into force on 1 January 2022 and provide for the introduction of a new benefit addressed to families with children – a maximum of PLN 12,000 for the second and subsequent child. Also, support of the care system for children up to the age of 3 will be increased.

05.08.2021Family Care Capital. Parents will have a choiceOn an ongoing basis, we observe the incoming opinions and, above all, we listen to the opinions of parents themselves. Therefore, it is the parents themselves who will decide whether they are going to make use of the new benefit for one year in the amount of PLN 1,000 per month, or whether they are going to receive support for two years – PLN 500 per month. – as the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg says with respect to Family Care Capital. The draft act has already been submitted for public consultation.
