17.08.2021The new regulations are to enter into force on 1 January 2022 and provide for the introduction of a new benefit addressed to families with children – a maximum of PLN 12,000 for the second and subsequent child. Also, support of the care system for children up to the age of 3 will be increased.

05.08.2021On an ongoing basis, we observe the incoming opinions and, above all, we listen to the opinions of parents themselves. Therefore, it is the parents themselves who will decide whether they are going to make use of the new benefit for one year in the amount of PLN 1,000 per month, or whether they are going to receive support for two years – PLN 500 per month. – as the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg says with respect to Family Care Capital. The draft act has already been submitted for public consultation.

30.07.2021The draft Demographic Strategy 2040, published in June 2021, is the first such a comprehensive document in Poland addressing the adverse trends in the area of demography. From now on, it is possible to become familiar with the report on the Survey of conditions for improving the demographic condition of Poland, conducted upon request of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy for the purposes of developing the Strategy. The document is available on the gov.pl/demografia/badania website, where it is possible to find the full bibliography along with direct links to key materials and surveys.

27.07.2021On Monday the Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek together with the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg visited Lower Silesia. They met there with the inhabitants of Chocianów, and the topic of conversation was primarily the Polish Deal. It was also an opportunity to hand over a promise to the Federation of Universities of the Third Age to implement a project under the "Aktywni+" programme.
