On 30 March this year, Secretary of State, Stanisław Szwed, met with Ron J.P.M. van Dartel, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Poland. 

On 28 March this year, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Deputy Minister Stanisław Szwed held a series of meetings in Brussels, presenting Poland's position and arguments on EU matters concerning employment and social affairs.

The Saturday National Congress of Families at the National Stadium was part of celebration of the National Day of Life. Guests of the Congress include Minister Elżbieta Rafalska and Deputy Minister Bartosz Marczuk. 

On 24 March, Secretary of State, Stanisław Szwed, met with member of the Committee on Migration, Refugees and Displaced Persons of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Mr Egidijus Vareikis.

Secretary of State, Stanisław Szwed, met with Hu Keming, Deputy Director of the Legislative Affairs Office of the State Council of China. This Office is one of the leading institutions in the co-creation of law in China.

On 9 March, Minister Elżbieta Rafalska met with the Vice-President of the European Commission, Valdis Dombrovskis.

Since 1 March, the minimum old age pension, invalidity pension and survivor's pension have increased more than PLN 100, up to PLN 1000. 

According to a study published by the European Commission, economic growth in Poland is expected to accelerate in 2017 and 2018.

Seminar entitled “Monitoring of first social effects of the Family 500 plus programme,” organised by the “Social policy, family” division of the National Development Council, was held on 8 February in the Presidential Palace.

In Barcelona (Spain), the Jury of the “Fighting for the family” award presented Minister Elżbieta Rafalska with an award in the international category for the implementation of the “Family 500 plus” programme in Poland.
