    We support local governments so that they have the funds available to supplement their own contributions for implementation of regional programmes. They will therefore receive more than PLN 8.7 billion from the state budget. This will increase the budget of all 16 regional programmes to over PLN 165.7 billion, announced the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy, Grzegorz Puda.

    The Accessibility Plus Programme, which is coordinated by the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy, is now five years old. A two-day international conference is held at the ministry to celebrate the occasion.     The agreement signed today is another good example of cooperation between the government and the local authorities. In this way, the Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy supports the regions in their further development and helps the Lublin region to mobilise EU funds for repayable instruments. This will allow to increase the competitiveness of enterprises, especially local ones, said Minister Grzegorz Puda during the signing of the first regional agreement regarding the creation of the Trust Fund and implementation by the BGK of repayable instruments in the territory of the Lubelskie voivodeship.

    The budget of the Integrated Territorial Investments of the Central Sub-region of the Silesian Voivodeship will be increased by additional PLN 81.77 million. The funds will be used to increase the European Union co-financing for existing urban transport investments. This will improve safety and comfort for residents and tourists visiting the region and will provide the Silesian metropolis with more modern and environmentally friendly public transport, said Grzegorz Puda, the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy.

    The CPK company and Grodziskie Przewozy Autobusowe (Grodzisk Bus Services) district and municipalities association have signed an agreement to subsidise the purchase of low-floor buses for public transport services in the Grodzisk and Pruszków districts, including the municipalities of Baranów, Błonie, Jaktorów, Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Milanówek and Żabia Wola.
