We have negotiated as much as EUR 76 billion for the implementation of the Partnership Agreement. This is a great success for the Polish government under the leadership of the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Urban reconstruction is the topic of a Polish special session at the WUF11 World Urban Forum in Katowice. The Polish Special Session on Rebuilding Communities and Neighborhoods after war and natural disasters was organized in the context of the war in Ukraine. In order for the process of assistance and recovery from the devastation to be effective, dialogue and cooperation with local communities and local authorities is essential. The session was attended by UN-Habitat Executive Director Maimunah Mohd Sharif and the Deputy Minister Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak, as well as by President of Katowice Marcin Krupa.

The primary goal of the National Urban Policy 2030 (NUP) is the long-term development of cities and their functional areas. Minister Grzegorz Puda discussed with participants of the WUF11 World Urban Forum in Katowice the potential of national urban policies and the opportunities they offer to address contemporary issues in the fields of environment, housing, mobility and urban planning, as well as innovation and technology.

The eyes of the whole world are on Katowice. The 11th edition of the World Urban Forum (WUF11) has begun in the Silesian capital. The Forum was officially opened by Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Grzegorz Puda, UN-Habitat Executive Director Maimunah Mohd Sharif, Deputy Minister Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak and Mayor of Katowice, Marcin Krupa. The event was attended by the Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

More than EUR 1.75 billion from the cohesion policy for 2021-2027 will be received by the Śląskie Voivodeship for the European Funds for Śląsk regional program. The Deputy Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak and the Marshal of Pomorskie Voivodeship Mieczysław Struk have signed the Program Contract.

The Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy will coordinate the cooperation of more than a dozen ministries in the process of implementing 54 investments and 48 reforms under the Poland's National Recovery Plan (NRP).

The Reconstruction Fund is an additional support to Member States that will provide funding for reforms and investments after the coronavirus pandemic. The basis for reaching for this money is the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRP). The European Commission has accepted our NRP. We have negotiated more than PLN 158.5 billion in Brussels.

The Ministry of Development Funds and Regional Policy is launching another round of advisory support for local governments as a part of the Strategy for Responsible Development strategic project - the Center for Advisory Support (CAS).

The turn of the financial perspectives is a time of increased effort for entities benefiting from EU funding. They must not only fulfill all the commitments made in connection with the implementation of existing projects, but also plan and prepare for the absorption of EU funds from the new financial perspective. Minister Grzegorz Puda spoke about what awaits the Eastern Poland macro-region in the new financial perspective in Białystok during a meeting with local authorities and entrepreneurs.

Family allotment gardens (FAGs) will receive EU support for increasing green spaces and environmental measures to reduce noise and air pollution and protect animals. The allocation of EU money from the Infrastructure and Environment Program 2014-2020 (OPI&E) for the development of FAG green infrastructure was announced by the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy Grzegorz Puda.
