Poland in Kenya

On March 31, 2025, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its consular section will be closed due to the celebration of Idd-ul-Fitr in the Republic of Kenya.

We kindly inform you that on December 12, 25, 26, 2024 and January 1, 2025 as well as January 6, 2025 the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed due to Jamuhuri Day, Christmas, the New Year's Day and Epiphany, which are public holidays observed in Kenya and in Poland.

On November 12, the day after the ceremonial Independence Day celebrations, the first Polish-Ugandan Economic Seminar was held in Kampala, organized by the Polish Embassy in Nairobi in cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Poland in Kampala and Polish Investment and Trade Agency office in Nairobi.

On November 11, the Golf Course Hotel in Kampala hosted the ceremonial Independence Day celebrations organized by the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi in cooperation with the Honorary Consulate of Poland in Kampala.

On October 31st 2024 employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland visited Langata Cemetery and Nairobi War Cemetery to commemorate the deceased and fallen Poles in exile and to lay flowers on their graves.

On 14-18 October 2024, Ambassador Mirosław Gojdź participated in the EU-Seychelles Partnership Week 2024 – an annual event with the participation of ambassadors of EU Member States accredited the Seychelles, representatives of the EU Delegation and the Seychelles administration.

We kindly inform you that on Friday, November 1, 2024 and Monday, November 11, 2024, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nairobi and its Consular Section will be closed due to All Saints Day and National Independence Day respectively, which are declared public holidays in the Republic of Poland.

On August 9-28, 2024, a medical mission organized by the Open Wings foundation took place in Madagascar under the honorary patronage of the Embassy of Poland in Nairobi.
