Poland in Kuwait

On November the 10th, the Embassy organized a meeting to mark National Independence Day and an exhibition of artistic works by students of the Polish School in Kuwait.

MFA Secretary of State Władysław T. Bartoszewski visited Kuwait from October 4-6, where he represented Poland at the 29th meeting of the European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Joint Council and the 2nd meeting of the EU-GCC High-Level Forum on Regional Security and Cooperation.

Ambassador Michał Cholewa presented his credentials to His Highness the Amir of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The ceremony took place on September 16 at the Bayan Palace.

On July 29th, Ambassador Cholewa visited the Public Institution for Social Security (PIFSS).

Ambassador-Designate was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Ali Al-Yahya on May 21st.

The Embassy proudly hosted a reception on May 4th to celebrate the anniversary of the May 3rd Constitution of 1791 and the 1000th anniversary of the coronation of the first Polish king.

Head of Mission visited the Dar al Athar al Islamiyyah cultural center where he held a meeting with Sheikha Hussa Sabah Al Salem Al Sabah who oversees and co-founded the institution.

In cooperation with the diplomatic mission of Ukraine, the Polish Embassy hosted an event showing solidarity with the people of Ukraine who have been defending themselves from Russia’s full-scale invasion for 3 years.
