06.05.2025The Council of Ministers adopted a resolution on submitting to the Sejm of the Republic of Poland a request for consent to the extension of the temporary restriction of the right to lodge an application for international protection at the state border with the Republic of Belarus, submitted by the Minister of Interior and Administration.

29.04.2025On 23rd April 2025 in Warsaw, Poland and Norway concluded an intergovernmental agreement opening the fourth edition of the Norway Grants for the years 2021-2028. Under this agreement, Poland will receive a total of over EUR 441 million (i.e., more than PLN 1.9 billion) for projects and investments. Out of this amount, more than EUR 82 million will be allocated to the programme being implemented by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration.

17.04.2025 Kosovo‘I want to stress the importance of this mission, in particular in recent years, which have shown how easily destabilisation, conflict or war can occur. The Polish mission to Kosovo has been ongoing for 25 years to date. This is something to be proud of,’ said Minister Tomasz Siemoniak. On Thursday, 17 April, the Minister of the Interior and Administration met with Polish police officers who are serving in Kosovo as part of the EULEX mission. He also attended the Easter meeting and presented commemorative plaques to distinguished officers.

The Minister of the Interior and Administration also met with representatives of the UK security sector.

24.03.2025On Friday, 21 March 2025, Minister of the Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak met with Lithuanian Minister of the Interior Vladislav Kondratovič. The ministers exchanged views on international cooperation concerning migration management, strengthening border protection and responding to hybrid threats, as both countries are victims of hybrid aggression perpetrated by Russia and Belarus.

24.03.2025 Sejm“We need to work hand in hand and solve problems together. In the face of hybrid threats, we need to coordinate our actions,” said Minister Tomasz Siemoniak in the Sejm on Monday. The Minister of the Interior and Administration attended the Inter-Parliamentary Conference on the Common Foreign and Security Policy and the Common Security and Defence Policy, where he presented the Polish perspective on the hybrid threats we currently face.

14.03.2025On Friday, 14 March, Minister of the Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak met Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov for the third time in 2025. The ministers continued their talks concerning the challenges stemming from the presence of Ukrainian war refugees in Poland.
