Bilateral development aid - 2019
In Moldova, Polish government administration and non-governmental organizations implemented in 2019 projects concerning support to public administration in the process of advancing regional policy and development of urban areas, improving the competences of Moldavian rescue services, supporting agriculture and rural development, and promoting regional tourism.
Aid projects were also implemented in 2019 by the Polish Embassy in Chisinau. They included 6 projects related to support for entrepreneurship, including the functioning of the Polish-Moldovan Development and Entrepreneurship Centre; supportforthe growth of educational institutions; support for local administration in improving electricity and water infrastructure; and improvement of medical infrastructure, including support for the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in Chisinau by implementing modern technologies.
In 2019, the total ODA for Moldova was PLN 10,620,109.
