Polish support to Uganda in 2019 focused on improving the availability and quality of medical care.
Completed medical projects ensured access to healthcare to inhabitants of Mattuga, Koja and Makono. Health centres were furnished with equipment enabling medical care to be provided, including in basic medical care, obstetrics, and medical rescue. In the Polish Aid Volunteer Programme, support was provided to the educational system in the south of the country. A local library was launched and now doubles as an education and culture centre
A total of three projects were carried out, two selected in calls of proposals for non-governmental organisations and one implemented through the Polish Embassy in Nairobi.
In 2019, the total ODA for Uganda was PLN 1,347,631
