EPAPA in 2019

In 2019, 50 EaP civil servants participated in the ninth edition of the Eastern Partnership Academy of Public Administration (EPAPA).

The programme aimed to strengthen the government administration in the Eastern Partnership states by organising specialised training courses for civil servants from these countries.

The EPAPA programme is organised by the Department of Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Lech Kaczyński National School of Public Administration (KSAP). It was conducted in the form of one- or two-week training modules. They comprised both lectures and workshops delivered by experienced experts and practitioners.

In 2019, four training modules were organised, including one in the form of internships with the Polish civil service for representatives of six Eastern Partnership countries.

The remaining courses covered:

  1. support for small and medium-sized enterprises for Belarusian civil servants;
  2. implementation of the provisions of association agreements/DCFTA on food safety and consumer protection for representatives of the government administrations of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine;
  3. strategic planning and European integration for Ukrainian civil servants.
