EPAPA in 2020

In 2020, the tenth anniversary edition of the Eastern Partnership Academy of Public Administration (EPAPA) programme was conducted remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

As every year, the programme aimed at strengthening the government administrations in the Eastern Partnership states by conducting specialist training courses for civil servants from these countries.

The EPAPA programme is delivered by the Department of Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with the Lech Kaczyński National School of Public Administration (KSAP). In 2020, the programme was carried out in the form of one-week training modules thanks to online communication tools that enabled remote participation.

In 2020, three training modules were organised:

1. implementation of the provisions of association agreements/DCFTA on environmental protection for representatives of the government administrations of Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine;

2. planning and effective implementation of public policies as an instrument of public governance for civil servants from Georgia. The module was delivered in cooperation with the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration (ZSPA);

3. anti-corruption for all EaP states.
