Global Education Week

The Global Education Week (Tydzień Edukacji Globalnej, TEG) is an important event for global education worldwide. As an annual initiative coordinated by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, it seeks to draw the attention of European societies to the way the modern world is functioning, and to the effects of globalisation.

The Global Education Week is usually held in the third week of November. Every year, during an annual meeting of the national coordinators of the North-South Centre Global Education Network, a new motto is selected.

A review of previous Global Education Week editions:

  • 22nd edition, 16-20 November 2020 under the motto “It's our world, let's take action together!”
  • 21st edition, 18-24 November 2019 under the motto  “Wake up! This is the final call for climate!”
