The mission of Polish Aid

Polish Aid mission: By engaging in development cooperation, that is humanitarian aid, development assistance and global education, Poland seeks to contribute to building a more sustainable world for present and future generations.

Polish aid attaches great importance to the idea of international solidarity and a sense of co-responsibility for the fate of the world.

A sustainable world is less vulnerable to crisis situations, including above all those caused by human-driven factors. A sustainable world offers a greater opportunity for lasting peace and prosperity for all people.

Initiatives for sustainable development and strengthening stability in partner countries support both development and security of Poland. Development cooperation makes it possible to contribute to global efforts to eradicate poverty and inequality while promoting national interest.

In the interests of security and sustainable development of partner countries, it lays the foundations for strengthening political and economic relations, including broadening economic cooperation. As such, Polish aid is strategic investment in the common future.
