Poland’s Official Development Assistance in 2020: Preliminary Data
21.04.2021
According to preliminary data (as of 15 March 2021), Poland’s Official Development Assistance (ODA) amounted to PLN 3.13 billion in 2020.
Multilateral assistance, totalling PLN 2.33 billion, represented 74% of ODA whereas bilateral assistance of PLN 803 million amounted to 26%. Humanitarian aid totalled PLN 73.97 million.
The decreased share of bilateral assistance in ODA stems mainly from the decreased amount of the grant equivalent reported under the governmental tied aid credits, as well as from the increased contribution to the EU’s general budget. The share of ODA in Gross National Income (ODA/GNI) has remained unchanged for three years and stands at 0.14%.
