Polish Official Development Assistance (ODA) amounted to PLN 3,233 million in 2020 and was nominally higher than in 2019 by more than 8%. Multilateral aid of PLN 2.36 billion accounted for 73% of ODA, bilateral aid of PLN 877 million accounted for 27%.

Humanitarian aid in 2020 amounted to PLN 131.42 million, which was more than 84% higher than the amount spent for this purpose in 2019.

ODA related to countering COVID-19 totalled PLN 93.97 million (including PLN 74.51 million in humanitarian aid).

Despite the stable nominal increase in ODA over the past 3 years, the share in Gross National Income (ODA/GNI) remained unchanged at 0.14%.
