Polish Development Cooperation - 2024 Annual Report
“Polish Development Cooperation. 2024 Annual Report” presents information on the programmes and projects implemented as part of the Polish development cooperation in 2024, especially the initiatives funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the Polish Aid programme.
The Polish Aid projects were carried out primarily in 10 priority countries, of which Ukraine received special support for its society and institutions in reaction to the military activities of the Russian Federation. At the same time, Poland responded to the humanitarian crisis the Middle East, providing humanitarian aid and development assistance in Palestine and Lebanon as well as offering support in answer to the refugee crisis caused by the war in Syria.
The projects implemented in the remaining priority countries of the Eastern Partnership (Moldova, Georgia, and Belarus – with regard to its civil society) and Sub-Saharan Africa (Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, and Senegal) served to develop and support rescue services and crisis management systems, strengthen institutions, education, and health care, as well as growing entrepreneurship.
