Polish diplomatic and consular posts implement aid projects. These are activities of great importance for local communities, which also contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals.
In recent years, the largest number of such initiatives, with Polish aid, have been carried out in Eastern Partnership countries and sub-Saharan Africa. However, Polish development cooperation in this form is also present in the countries of Asia, North Africa, the Middle East and the Western Balkans.
The countries covered by the cooperation are on the list of Official Development Assistance (ODA) recipients maintained by the OECD Development Assistance Committee and in annually updated Development Cooperation Plan of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
