'Triple nexus' concept
This concept foresees the need for cooperation and coordination of humanitarian and development actions as well as peace-building efforts.
Poverty, conflicts, instability, and forced displacements are closely interlinked and should be addressed in a coherent and comprehensive manner. The aim is to tackle the root causes of vulnerability, instability and conflicts, and at the same time to respond to humanitarian needs and increase resilience.
