The visit provides an opportunity to hold discussions on the current situation of European agriculture, also in the context of the provisions of the EU-Mercosur agreement. 'Many talks are already behind us, but we are not giving up. We wish to continue our dialogue with the ministers of Member States who share positions similar to that of the Polish Government,' emphasised the Minister of Agriculture.

03.09.2025 WarsawOn 3 September 2025, during the AGROKOMPLEX International Agricultural and Food Fair in Nitra, Slovakia, Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak met with the Slovak Secretary of State at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vladimír Vnuk, to discuss the Multiannual Financial Framework of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) as well as the trade agreement with Ukraine. Deputy Minister Czerniak also took part in the official opening of the fair.

The delegation was accompanied by Clémentine Shakembo Kamanga, Ambassador of the DRC to Poland. The meeting was chaired by Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak.
