The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Stefan Krajewski and Deputy Minister Jacek Czerniak opened the Polish national stand at the Green Week International Agricultural and Food Fair in Berlin. The 100th jubilee edition of the fair is one of the key opportunities for Poland to promote national food and export offer on international markets, and for visitors - a chance to meet directly with Polish producers and their products.

The Undersecretary of State Adam Nowak met with Her Excellency Ilham Ibrahim Mohamed Ahmed, Ambassador of the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Poland. The Deputy Minister congratulated the Ambassador on taking up the diplomatic mission, while expressing his hope for intensifying Polish-Sudanese relations, particularly in the area of agriculture.

Secretary of State Jacek Czerniak received His Excellency Saoud bin Abdullah Zaid Al-Mahmoud, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Poland, at the seat of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The meeting was dedicated to discussing the prospects for the development of cooperation in the field of agriculture, with particular consideration given to the possibility of increasing the export of Polish agri-food products to the Qatari market.

Poland has achieved one of the most important negotiating successes of this year. During the EU Agriculture and Fisheries Council (AGRIFISH) meeting, which was held on 11-12 December in Brussels, the delegation headed by the Minister of Agriculture Stefan Krajewski and Deputy Minister Jacek Czerniak secured a political agreement on fishing quotas for the years 2026-2028, taking into account the key Polish demands regarding the Baltic Sea.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture Adam Nowak took part in the panel "How to revive farming: The 7-year recipe for growth” during this year's POLITICO: Sustainable Future Summit. The discussion focused on the directions in which the European Union's agricultural policy should develop, the role of regulatory simplifications and methods to restore the attractiveness of agriculture for the young generation in the face of the progressive depopulation of rural areas.
