9 calls had been already closed for application. The number of application in each call and requested amount for the projects’ implementation exceeded estimates of the Programme Operator. Below we are presenting the details of already closed calls.

All calls carried out within the “Environment, Energy and Climate Change” Programme give the possibility to implement projects with a partner from Donor States (Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). The primary goal of such projects is to initiate and reinforce networks with foreign institutions and share and confront ideas, best practices and methods with each other. Due to such partnership it is possible to gain and increase the capacity to operate at international level. All projects planned to be carried out with a partner will receive extra points during the assessment process carried out by the Programme Operator.

Every call in the “Environment, Energy, Climate Change” offers the possibility to implement a project with a partner from the Donor States (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein). Such partnership is a chance to share experience and knowledge with foreign partner. Moreover, it also gives extra points during project assessment.

The interest of applicants in all three calls was considerably high - 150 applications had been submitted from all voivodships for the amount for over 1 billion PLN.

Another match-making event within the Programme „Environment, Energy and Climate Change” in the form of webinar took place on the 25th of June 2020. This time it was dedicated to the Programme Area „Energy” („Improving energy Efficiency and Energy Security” ” and „Increased Energy production from renewable sources”).

The Minister of Climate, as the Operator of the “Environment, Energy and Climate Change” Programme announces a call for the thematic area Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation under the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 (EEA Grants).

The National Fund for Environment Protection and Water Management is hosting a webinar on Matchmaking in the Programme Area Energy on Thursday 25 June 2020.

In connection with the pandemia of coronavirus and on the requests from many institutions and enterprises Minister of Climate had decided on the prolongation on the deadline for submitting of applications for co-financing within the all calls announced on 13th of March within the Programme Area “Environment, Energy and Climate Change”.

A conference inaugurating the Environment, Energy and Climate Change Programme will be held in Warsaw on 3 March 2020 as part of the 3rd edition of the European Economic Area and Norway Grants in Poland.
