Today in Warsaw minister Piotr Nowak hosted Robert Habeck, German vice-chancellor and federal minister for economic affairs and climate action. The main topic of the meeting was the climate and energy package and its impact on the competitiveness of European economy and industrial development. The agenda of the meeting also included the development of business relations between Poland and Germany.

The topics of the minister of economic development and technology’s conversations with ambassador Akio Miyajima were Japanese investment projects in advanced technologies and Poland’s participation in World EXPO in Osaka in 2025.

The construction of a new factory and the expansion of the existing one, the increase of the production capacity from 4 million to 5.2 million units annually and the creation of 60 new jobs - declares Samsung Electronics Poland Manufacturing after receiving a decision to support the investment. This is one of the 713 decisions that were issued in 2021 under the Polish Investment Zone.

According to preliminary estimates of CSO, the gross domestic product in the whole of 2021 increased by 5.7% y/y. The highest growth in 14 years is a confirmation of the good condition of the Polish economy.

In the whole of 2021 - according to the latest data from the Central Statistical Office (GUS) - 6.3% more dwellings were completed in Poland than in the previous year. The number of dwellings for which construction permits were issued or notifications with designs were submitted also increased by nearly 24%.

Industrial Development Agency has issued the hundredth decision concerning support for business activity in the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone EURO-PARK WISŁOSAN. Thanks to it, the Korean company Enchem Poland will build a new factory and lithium production installation in Kobierzyce in Lower Silesia.
