On 29 September the Ministry of Foreign Affairs hosted the ceremony for the introduction of a postage stamp titled ‘Józef Wybicki — Author of Lyrics to Poland’s National Anthem’. The stamp was introduced to the public by the MFA Secretary of State, Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, and the President and Vice-President of Poczta Polska, Krzysztof Falkowski and Wiesław Włodek.

On 26 September 2022, the OSCE’s Human Dimension Conference was inaugurated in Warsaw, bringing together representatives of international organisations, governments, and civil society. The 10-day event will see debates on the condition of human rights and fundamental values in the OSCE region.

During his visit to Reykjavík on 22-23 September 2022, Deputy Minister Szynkowski vel Sęk met with Permanent Secretary of State at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iceland Martin Eyjólfsson, Speaker of Althingi Birgir Ármannsson, as well as representatives of Foreign Affairs Committee of Althingi headed by Chair Bjarni Jónsson.

On 15 September 2022, Poland filed a declaration of intervention to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in Ukraine’s case against the Russian Federation over allegations of genocide under the 1948 UN Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (Ukraine v. the Russian Federation).
