Introduced in September 2020 on the initiative of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, the Poland.

On 6 September, Secretary of State Piotr Wawrzyk of the MFA took part in the official opening of the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce. More than 30 foreign delegations, including Turkey with its lead nation exhibition, participate in this year’s fair.

Head of the Foreign Service Arkady Rzegocki met with participants of the first pilot edition of the European Diplomatic Academy. The meeting was attended by the Rector of the College of Europe in Natolin, Ewa Ośniecka-Tamecka, as well as representatives of the embassies of the participating countries.

Undersecretary of State Marcin Przydacz invited Ukraine’s new Deputy Foreign Minister, Jevhen Perebyinis, to take part in political consultations in Warsaw.

“Given that a considerable part of Russian society support the criminal policies pursued by the country’s authorities, it is imperative that all the member states urgently cease to issue tourist visas to Russian nationals,” Minister Rau pointed out during an informal meeting of EU member states’ ministers of foreign affairs (Gymnich) held in Prague on 30–31 August. The ministers also met with heads of diplomacy of Ukraine, Moldova and Georgia.

The head of Polish diplomacy took part in the 26th edition of the Forum 2000 Conference held in Prague on 31 August 2022. Together with his counterparts from Ukraine and Germany and the High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, he spoke at the panel on the future of Ukraine.

On 30 August 2022, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Piotr Wawrzyk presented Poland’s Youth Delegates with nominations for the 77th UN General Assembly. The nominees were Marcelina Kozubek, Maciej Kudra-Bartkowiak and Michał Adamczuk.

On 29 August, Minister Zbigniew Rau participated in the Bled Strategic Forum, an annual high-level conference co-organised by the Slovenian government.

Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński met with Russian opposition politicians: the world-renowned chess champion Garry Kasparov and the former businessman Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

Between 29 and 31 August, Poland’s top diplomat Zbigniew Rau will be visiting Bled and Prague.
