    Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Wojciech Zajączkowski and United Arab Emirates' Minister of State Lana Nusseibeh held political consultations in Warsaw on 16 February 2026. The meeting focused on Polish-Emirati ties, including the prospects of enhancing bilateral cooperation, as well as on the current situation in Ukraine and the Gulf region. The UAE is Poland's second largest trade partner in the Gulf and an increasingly popular travel destination among Polish tourists.

Held annually in the Bavarian capital, the Conference is one of the most prestigious events in international politics and a venue for the exchange of views and strategic consultations between world leaders and security experts.

    Today, a transport of humanitarian aid has been sent to the people of Afghanistan affected by the earthquakes that have repeatedly struck the eastern provinces of the country in recent months. Around PLN 2 million worth of medical equipment, medicines, food, and blankets will be distributed among the survivors, especially in the Kunar province. For many years, Poland has been engaged in aid activities to relieve those in Afghanistan who need them most.

    Poland's top diplomat Radosław Sikorski visited the United States between 4 and 7 February 2026, where he took part in the Critical Minerals Ministerial. The visit took place at the invitation of US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and coincided with the 280th anniversary (4 February) of the birth of General Tadeusz Kościuszko, the hero of both nations. On this occasion, Minister Sikorski inaugurated the celebrations of the 250th anniversary of American independence and the Polish-American friendship.
