During the weekend convention entitled „Programme Hive of Law and Justice”, President Jarosław Kaczyński announced that from the new year the „500 plus” child-raising benefit would be increased to PLN 800.

At the Wielkopolski Voivodeship Office in Poznań a press conference was held which was devoted to cases of violence against minors. It was attended by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg and Secretary of State at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy Anna Schmidt.

At the end of April, the registered unemployment rate amounted to 5.3% – according to preliminary data of the Ministry of Family and Social Policy – This is by 0.1 percentage points less than in March and also less than in the same period last year. Today, unemployment is at the level lower than before the outbreak of the pandemic, which shows the efficiency of the support instruments implemented by the government – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg.

Until 15 July, applications may be submitted for co-financing projects improving the accessibility of public space and services for people with disabilities. Under the programme, it is possible to receive up to 80% of co-financing.

The new edition of the Toddler+ programme has been settled. This year’s call has been summarised by the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, the Minister of Development Funds and Regional Policy, Grzegorz Puda and the Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Social Policy Barbara Socha, Government Plenipotentiary for Demographic Policy.

Adapting playgrounds to the needs of children with disabilities is one of the priorities of the „Accessible Public Space” programme announced today by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy and the State Fund for the Rehabilitation of the Disabled (PFRON).

Making it easier for parents to combine work life with raising their children and more transparent working conditions. On Wednesday, amendments to the provisions of the Labour Code, implementing the provisions of two EU directives into the Polish legal system, are to come into effect.

Co-financing under the 4th edition of the “Family First!” competition will cover 59 family-friendly projects. This year, the non-governmental organisations will go beyond informational and educational campaigns and start to establish the network family clubs. The Ministry of Family and Social Policy allocated the total of PLN 17 million for this purpose.

“The act we have worked out together is a historical change in the support system for persons with disabilities. The State’s strength is demonstrated by the way it cares of the most vulnerable ones. The Government of the United Right makes all efforts to ensure the right to a dignified and independent life to the disabled people and their caregivers” – said the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, during the Friday meeting in the Seym.

Minister Marlena Maląg granted additional PLN 100 million for implementation of the unemployed activation programmes organised locally by the district employment offices. These programmes are already approved by the Marshalls of the Voivodeships competent for the territory and now they will receive support from the Labour Fund.
