Department for Combating Environmental Crime
The main tasks of the Department for Combating Environmental Crime include:
- conducting cases in the field of prevention and detection of environmental crimes and offences, carrying out extra-scheduled intervention inspections and activities in the field of prevention and detection of environmental crimes and offences;
- carrying out preventive activities aimed at reducing criminal activities within the scope of use of the environment;
- conducting databases and analyses necessary for revealing and counteracting environmental leakage offences, in particular in terms of reducing the so-called "grey area" occurring on the waste management market.
