Poland in Lebanon

To commemorate Polish Armed Forces Day on the 15th of August, Polish Embassy representatives participated in a parade and display by soldiers of the Polish Military Contingent at Camp Shamrock in Southern Lebanon.

Renovation and security works at the Polish War Cemetery in Beirut have been completed. The project aimed to protect this unique place of remembrance from acts of vandalism and was an initiative long advocated by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Beirut.

On July 1st 2025 , a solemn ceremony took place during which the Polish Ambassador to Lebanon presented her credentials to the President of the Lebanese Republic.

Since 2018, Lebanon has been one of the priority countries for Polish development assistance in the Middle East.

In July 2025, a number of high level meetings was held between Ambassadors of European Union countries and representatives of the highest authorities of Lebanon - the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister and the Speaker of the Parliament.
