Poland in Lebanon

On the May 15th the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland in Beirut visited the Chamber of Commerce of Tripoli and Northern Lebanon, as well as visited the municipal authorities of the municipality of El Minah.

The Ministry of Public Health of Lebanon has authorised the necessary certifications for the Polish medical sector. The Embassy in Beirut celebrated this great news with an informal lunch for representatives of the Ministry of Health and leading companies from the Lebanese pharmaceutical sector where we discussed further cooperation

Polish Embassy staff in Beirut are volunteering to support charitable organizations, helping to prepare and distribute meals for those people displaced by military operations.

Among the many diverse threads of Polish-Lebanese relations, an unexpected but surprisingly interesting topic arises - trains. A connection which is made clear by the story of the Polish-made diesel locomotives that Lebanon purchased in the 1970s.
