Poland in Lebanon

On the 15th of November the Polish Embassy joined the reopening ceremony of the newly reconstructed GLOW Center, which provides vital training and support services, rebuilt thanks to co-financing from Poland.

At the initiative of the Polish Embassy, Jakub Piątek's documentary about the 2021 Chopin competition was shown at the 11th Beirut Art Film Festival.

On the 7th November, 2025, on the 158th anniversary of the Polish Nobel Prize winner's birth, a lecture on Maria Skłodowska-Curie was held at the American University of Beirut.

The Polish Embassy in Lebanon showcased the best of Poland at the 9th Edition of the Nations Day Festival, organized by the Beirut Golden Awards socio-cultural association with the support of the Governor of Beirut.

Poland's voluntary financial contribution to the UN-Habitat Lebanon programme will support the Directorate General of the Lebanese Civil Defence by strengthening their operational capacities in responding to crisis situations.

The celebrations marking the establishment of the UN were organized by the UNIFIL Mission Headquarters in Lebanon.

On the October 8th, the Polish Ambassador in Beirut participated in a meeting organized under the patronage of First Lady N. Aoun by the Lebanese Council for Women on the National Strategy for Women.

The Polish Embassy in Beirut has long supported environmental protection efforts, with particular interest in protecting the white stork, which migrates annually between Africa and Poland through Lebanon.
