Poland in NATO

Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz took part in a meeting of NATO defence ministers.

On 18 December, the NATO Headquarters hosted a piano recital by Yehuda Prokopowicz, winner of the prize for the best performance of mazurkas at the 19th Chopin Competition. The event contributed to the international promotion of Polish music.

The meeting began with an Allies-only session. The ministers discussed progress in strengthening deterrence and defence, analyzed threats and challenges to the Alliance's security, and summarized the levels of defence spending and arms production. The session initiated preparations for the NATO Summit in Ankara in 2026.

Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz took part in a meeting of NATO defence ministers

On 24-25 June 2025, President Andrzej Duda took part in the NATO Summit in The Hague. The President was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defence Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski, who represented Poland at ministerial meetings.

Deputy Minister of National Defence Paweł Zalewski took part in the last ministerial meeting of the Alliance before the Summit in The Hague.

The last meeting of the heads of diplomacy of the North Atlantic Alliance countries before the upcoming NATO summit in The Hague, took place on 14-15 May in Antalya, Türkiye. Poland was represented by Minister Radosław Sikorski. The ministerial session was preceded by a dinner hosted by Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan at the archaeological museum in Side.

The Permanent Delegation and the Polish Military Representation to NATO organized a reception at NATO Headquarters to celebrate the National Day of the 3rd of May.

The meeting was held at NATO Headquarters on 3 and 4 April. The ministers met in four sessions: Allies-only, with partners from the Indo-Pacific region, in the format of the NATO-Ukraine Council, and with the participation of the EU High Representative for Foreign and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas.
