Bilateral development aid - 2019
In 2019, support for Palestine was continued in areas such as promotion of entrepreneurship and creation of new jobs for women and youth, improvement of conditions in educational and medical facilities, as well as fostering the development of agricultural cooperatives in order to increase their effectiveness and ability to access markets.
In 2019, Polish support was provided through aid projects implemented by Polish non-governmental organisations and the Representative Office of the Republic of Poland to the Palestinian National Authority in Ramallah in cooperation with local partners. Support was also provided through the contribution to United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA). In addition, thanks to the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Scholarship Programme conducted by the MSHE, several Palestinian students were offered the opportunity to study in Poland.
