This town will rebuild an 18th-century bridge destroyed during the Second World War. The district of Tczew will receive more than PLN 60 million from the Government’s Strategic Investment Programme to restore the historic river crossing. The town will also establish a branch of the Gdańsk-based Museum of the Second World War.

EU leaders have decided to grant the candidate status to Ukraine and Moldova. The European Council has also approved financial aid for Ukraine in the amount of EUR 9 billion.

However, the efforts of Polish diplomacy have proved successful and brought the desired effect.

Thanks to them, the inhabitants of small localities will be able to play sports all year round. The government will allocate approximately PLN 80 million for this purpose. The launch of the construction of lightweight sports halls was announced by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki and Minister of Sport and Tourism Kamil Bortniczuk. The head of government stressed that the constriction of the halls is a great opportunity for many young people who want to take care of their health. About 1000 such places will be created throughout Poland.
