After the fall of apartheid, Dr. Phosa was the first prime minister of the Mpumalanga province and, inter alia, member of the executive committee and treasurer of the ruling ANC party and Chairman of the Council of the UNISA University of Pretoria.

Currently, Dr. Phosa is included in a small group of business leaders in the country and leading investors in the mining and transport industry.

The conversation concerned the conditions and possibilities of developing cooperation between Polish and South African companies and entrepreneurs, in particular in the energy sector.
