The new tool will include visual verification of the applicant's identity and of their identity document (video verification).

25.03.2026 PretoriaHead of the Embassy Jacek Chodorowicz, Polish Consul Robert Rusiecki, and Head of the Political and Economic Department Piotr Kruze visited Mozambique from 22 - 25 March 2026. The purpose of the visit was to meet with representatives of the Mozambican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation also participated in a Polish community meeting organized by Alberto Mabjai, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Maputo.

This year, for the first time, a Polish panelist Dr. Filip Bryjka, an analyst from the Polish Institute of International Affairs (PISM) participated in the event. The main theme of the discussion was "Countering Disinformation. Securing Local Democracy."

28.01.2026 PretoriaThe premiere of Luc Albinski's play "Nobody Told Me" took place on 28 January 2026 at the "Theatre on the Square" in Johannesburg. It was a moving war drama inspired by the true story of Dr. Halina Rotstein, a Polish Jew, doctor, mother of Wanda Albinska, and grandmother of Luc Albinski. Following the performance, a panel discussion was held, with the participation of, among others, Jan Łazicki, Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Contacts with the Jewish Diaspora.

The ceremony was attended by Jan Łazicki, Plenipotentiary of the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Relations with the Jewish Diaspora, and representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria.
