30.10.2024
The Central and Eastern European region is a large, important and highly creative, but often underestimated part of the global gaming industry, boasting over 1,000 studios and bringing together almost 30,000 highly skilled programmers and specialists. Established in 2018, the Central & Eastern European Game Awards were created as a joint project of organizations from the gaming industry in the Central and Eastern European region to honor the best games produced and published by local studios this year.
The Central & Eastern European Game Awards final gala, during which the winners are presented with CEEGA statuettes, is organized by the Creative Industry Development Centre (CRPK) and takes place cyclically (annually in autumn) in the Earth Hall of the Poznań International Fair, on the occasion of one of the most popular fairs in our part of Europe, Poznań Game Arena (PGA) and the accompanying Game Industry Conference (GIC), and is enjoying growing popularity among fans of computer games.
This year, the CEEGA gala took place on 26 October in the Earth Hall of the Poznań Congress Center, where the GIC conference was held. A jury composed of representatives of regional industry organizations selected winners in 8 categories: Audio, Visual Art, Narrative, Technology, Hidden gem, Design, Best mobile game and Best Game.
