The Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria would like to inform you about a consular outreach in Cape Town, which will take place from November 6-8, 2025, at the Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa (1 Lagoon Gate Drive, Lagoon Beach, Cape Town, 7441).

ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION

During this outreach, only passport applications will be accepted. For visa, citizenship, civil status transcription, and other matters, please contact the Consular Section in Pretoria directly.

Please also note that the consul does not transport passports for issuance to applicants.

Passport applications will be accepted in the conference room at the Lagoon Beach Hotel & Spa during the following hours:
- Thursday, November 6, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
- Friday, November 7, 9:30 AM 6:00 PM
- Saturday, November 8, 9:30 AM 2:00 PM

REGISTRATION FOR AN APPOINTMENT WITH THE CONSUL
Registration is mandatory for this appointment. Unfortunately, applicants who have not registered will not be able to be accommodated.

To schedule an appointment, please send an email to the Consular Section of the Polish Embassy in Pretoria: konsulat.pretoria@msz.gov.pl ONLY between Friday, October 31, and Tuesday, November 4, 2025. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please enter "Cape Town Duty - Registration" in the subject line.
Please include the following in the body of the message:
1. first name,
2. last name,
3. date of birth,
4. PESEL number of each person for whom the passport application is being submitted.

After completing registration, you will receive an email with the date and time of your appointment with the consul. Those who cannot find available appointments on the specified dates will receive a reply informing them that the appointments are full and that an appointment with the consul will not be possible.

PREPARING TO SUBMIT A PASSPORT APPLICATION
To submit a passport application, you must prepare and submit:
- your PESEL number
- your previous Polish passport (unless you are applying for a first passport)
- another valid ID, e.g., a Polish ID card, South African passport, or other foreign passport or ID card
- 1 color photo (no older than 6 months, against a light background, with your face occupying 70-80% of the photo)
- a marriage certificate registered in Poland (if you are changing your name on your passport)
- a child's birth certificate registered in Poland (if you are applying for a passport for a child). Both parents must be present.
- a cash fee of R2,239 (for those over 70 years of age, free of charge, 50% discount only with proof of ongoing studies or a Polish pension entitlement).
