One of the most distinguished pianists of his generation, Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky performed in the concert regularly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria at the end of the year. Head of the Embassy, Jacek Chodorowicz, welcomed the guests and introduced the artist. The large audience enjoyed a recital featuring works by Polish composers Fryderyk Chopin, Ignacy Friedman, and Ignacy Paderewski, as well as the finale, Richard Addinsell's famous Warsaw Concerto. Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky not only performed the pieces brilliantly but also spoke engagingly about them, and after the concert, he spared no effort for photos and conversations with the audience.

The second concert, which had a more intimate atmosphere, was organized by the UNISA Music Foundation (University of South Africa) at the Dr. Miriam Makeba Concert Hall in Pretoria. The program included works by Frédéric Chopin, Franz Liszt, Manuel de Falla, Claude Debussy, and Richard Addinsell. From the opening note of "Zwei Lieder von R. Schuman" to the captivating finale of the "Warsaw Concerto" - masterfully arranged for solo piano - Raphael Alexandre Lustchevsky commanded the audience's full attention.

The maestro also conducted a "Master Class" at UNISA, which proved very popular with students.

His name is familiar to regulars at the world's most distinguished concert halls and audiences at renowned international festivals.

The "Master Class" concerts and classes also coincided with the 19th edition of the International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition in Poland and aimed to popularize the works of the most outstanding Polish composer in South Africa.
