A group of Polish scouts who came to southern Africa as part of the Scouting Africa 2021” program (#HarcerskaAfryka 2021) visited the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria on September 3, 2021.

Consular Section of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland would like to inform about the next consular duty in Durban, that will take place on 18-19 September 2021.

The Second World War began on September 1, 1939 with the German attack on Poland. German aggression was compounded on September 17 when the Soviet Army joined the war, attacking Poland from the east. The defensive war lasted until October 6, 1939, when the Polish Army’s regular battles with the aggressors ended.

- South Africa is one of the most important political and economic partners of Poland in Africa. We appreciate the good dynamics of the bilateral relations established almost exactly 30 years ago and we are working on further strengthening the cooperation between our countries. This will benefit both our nations, said Paweł Jabłoński, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during today's political consultations with Alvin Botes, South Africa's deputy foreign minister.

The documentary film "Santa Rosa: Odyssey in the mariachi rhythm" by Sławomir Grunberg will be screened on-line in Johannesburg (South Africa) on September 1, 2021, at 19:00 (SAST) to commemorate the 82nd anniversary of the outbreak of World War II.

Recently, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been receiving reports of phone scams in which fraudsters claim to be either MFA’s employees or employees of Polish missions abroad to get the call recipients perform certain actions, especially money transfers. Usually, during the phone conversation scammers will inform you that you have failed to follow certain procedures or provided partial or false data while filling out forms, which will allegedly bring about legal consequences.
