04.09.2021 PretoriaThe Organizing Committee of the "Warsaw Flights" in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria commemorated the heroic South African Air Force and Allied airmen who participated in the military mission to support the Warsaw Uprising in 1944. The commemoration of the 77th anniversary of the "Warsaw Flights" took place on September 4, 2021 in the St. Joseph the Worker Polish Catholic Church in Norwood, Johannesburg and at the Katyn Monument.
