"Poland - Central Europe - global politics and relations with Africa" - lecture by Ambassador Adam Burakowski at Pretoria Boys High

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria, in cooperation with the Pretoria Boys High School, organized a lecture on "Poland - Central Europe - global politics and relations with Africa” on 11 October 2024.

The lecture was given by Ambassador Adam Burakowski. He presented the most important events in the history of Poland, relations with European countries, as well as relations and the development of Polish-South African relations. The lecture aroused great interest among students of the prestigious secondary school in Pretoria. Students asked many questions on the topics discussed during the lecture. About 40 students and lecturers took part in the event.

Pretoria Boys High is one of the best secondary schools in South Africa and one of the oldest schools in Gauteng. Founded in 1901 by Charles Hop, the motto of Pretoria Boys High School is “Virtute et Labore”, which means “through courage and work.” The school currently has around 1,500 students. The school educates South Africa’s future elite.
