Polish pianist gives concerts in South Africa

South African audiences had a rare opportunity to listen to several live concerts performed by Polish artist, Professor Andrzej Pikul, who came to South Africa with a series of concerts and lectures on the work of Fryderyk Chopin.
Prof Andrzej Pikul inaugurated his performances in South Africa On Sunday, on February 6, 2022 at the AfriForum Theater in Pretoria. In his one and a half hour performance, Prof Pikul masterfully played many popular works by Fryderyk Chopin. The audience received the Polish artist's performance with great interest and recognition. Prof Pikul is one of the most respected Polish and European piano teachers, head of the Piano Department of the Academy of Music in Krakow. During his stay in South Africa, he will also perform in Bloemfontein on February 10, 2022 and in Cape Town on February 13, 2022, and will organize a series of lectures on Chopin's work at the University of Pretoria and Bloemfontein.
