Political consultations Poland - Namibia

The first political consultations between Poland and Namibia took place in Windhoek on December 2, 2022. The consultations were conducted by the Undersecretary of State for Development Cooperation, Africa and the Middle East, Mr. Paweł Jabłoński, and the Deputy Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia, Ms. Jenelly Matundu.
During the consultations, among others, the following topics were discussed: issues regarding political and economic relations, the effects of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, as well as similar historical experiences of our nations, on which we build cooperation for the future.
Undersecretary of State for Development Cooperation, Africa and the Middle East, Mr. Paweł Jabłoński, together with representatives of the Polish delegation, paid tribute to the victims of the genocide committed by German soldiers on the Nama and Herero tribes in 1904-1908, and laid a wreath at the monument commemorating these crimes.
