Recruitment for the NAWA scholarship program “Polonista”

The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria kindly informs that recruitment for the NAWA scholarship program “Polonista” is ongoing until April 4, 2025.

Polonista scholarship and fellowship programme

The aim of the Program is to popularize the Polish language, popularize Polish studies and research in the world, and strengthen and support the development of foreign and Polish academic centers that conduct such studies and research. As part of the program, scholarships can be obtained for full or partial Polish studies at selected universities in Poland. In turn, scientists can carry out research projects lasting from 3 to 12 months at Polish universities, also in English. The program is addressed to students and doctoral students of Polish studies, Polish studies or Polish programs implemented, among others, as part of Slavic studies (in the field of Polish language, Polish culture and knowledge about Poland) and to scientists from foreign universities and scientific institutions.
