Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Pretoria visit Mozambique

Head of the Embassy Jacek Chodorowicz, Polish Consul Robert Rusiecki, and Head of the Political and Economic Department Piotr Kruze visited Mozambique from 22 - 25 March 2026. The purpose of the visit was to meet with representatives of the Mozambican Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The delegation also participated in a Polish community meeting organized by Alberto Mabjai, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Maputo.

Representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland held a series of meetings at the Mozambican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the diplomatic corps in Maputo from 22-25 March 2026. Among the topics discussed were the EU-Mozambique business forum scheduled for June 2026. A highlight of the visit was a meeting of the Polish diaspora, organized by Alberto Mabjai, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Maputo. Among those present were Professor Renata Diaz-Szmidt, president of the Polish Society of African Studies, and Vieira Mário Mauelele, a Mozambican writer and historian. During the stay in Maputo, a consular outreach was also held.
